That is a very early Genesis grill and it is in great condition from what I see. WOW!!!
I have two old ones like that that I have modified.
I can't see where it's located, but if i was close, I would be all over it!!
ETA: Oh, I see it's not for sale.

You won't see many of those. That was very early in the production cycle. (They were the best!)

I don't have any documentation to prove otherwise but the one my wife bought had the flip up table. It certainly had the thermometer.
Now I have to look up some old pics. I know (I think) we had the Genesis one at our wedding in 1992ish?...

Well Yes and no. That's a restoration I did where I copied the frame in stainless steel.
It is, however an example of the earliest Genesis grills

I am restoring a couple of old Weber Genesis grills, and a quick Google search for info brought me here.

I have three genesis redheads, one is inherited from my father. It was a Christmas present to Dad from Mom in the '80s. I remember helping put it together, and it was the first Weber gas grill I had ever seen.

The second was a Christmas present from my girlfriend back in '92. Of course, I married her the next summer! In addition to the swing up table and work surface on the left, both narrow slats, the right side had a wire basket that you were supposed to put your spices and...

His has narrow slats, so it's build was probably "91ish

It's pretty close. The one Cody found is a little newer. It has a six slat table instead of the two big planks.
