No time or room for this idea, but it struck me that with some effort you could conceivably wind up with a half-decent 4-burner Summit Platinum (all stainless cabinetry) with all the gizmos (assuming stuff like that infrared burner still work). If it could be done, it would then possibly be worthwhile to look for a fix on the firebox like I did on my 1st generation Summit.
