with a little effort you can tear that down in 15 minutes and carry it out a piece at a time. And this just popped up..... Just a little bit out of my 'pick up circle' but I really want to grab it.....
Trouble is that you can see from the pic that it is on a deck --- so another person is needed to get it.....
It would be an easy $300 flip if I didn't want it myself..... I've always wanted a sear and side burner.... don't know why....

That's almost to a T how I picked up the 450.with a little effort you can tear that down in 15 minutes and carry it out a piece at a time.
The side tables come off with 7/16" socket wrench.
doors remove quickly with a small screw driver
a box will hold the grates, flav bars, lower heat deflectors, slide out bottom pan and the grease drip pan.
If the lid hinge bolts are not rusted in you can get those out quickly and carry out the lid.
removing the cook box is two 7/16" bolts on either side.
If you are in a hurry you can wrap the burners up in a bag with some packing tape and tape them to the frame after the cookbox is out.
The cart without a cookbox is light.
Bring an 8x10 tarp to collect all the droppings and cleanup will be pretty easy.
LOL... Here you go Jon. You should have seen my wife's face when she found me unloading it... she was gracious. A few weeks ago I was checking out one of your posts about this model and got me hooked. Never thought I'd actually see one. While these probably are not going to be longed for by the masses, these little things are really cool and I think are special. I only had an hour before heading out to a dinner party tonight, but I was a kid in candy store and dove in for some tinkering. Considering the age I'm very surprised on how good of shape the frame, box, and hood are in. It actually fired up with it's igniter on 2nd click with very yellow flames. Threw some heat on the manifold screws and they came right out. Cleaned and adjusted the burners and got things nicely balanced. Sadly, the tables are missing and someone's dog had a go at a wheel at some point... easy to repair once I obtain the parts. I'm thinking this could be a fun resto. Here are some quick pics I took.We want to see more if you are saying you got it.
Reminds me of the time that I backed up to the garage with a truck full of old computers. The wives tend to get that look of...I dunno - desperation, exasperation, hopelessness, helpless? - on their faces, don't they? Gotta love 'em for putting up with us, though.LOL... Here you go Jon. You should have seen my wife's face when she found me unloading it...
The execution is poor, but I like the idea.No comment on this one:

Nah, just adds flavorThe execution is poor, but I like the idea.
Do you think it’s a fire hazard having wood close to the cookbox?
