I will just leave this here

The light blue color is cool, but to me, nothing I would pay a whole lot more for. But, it sure seems popular with collectors and enthusiasts.

I keep seeing these Genius grills pop up every so often. I need to pick one up and see what they are all about.

My mom has one similar. Hers has a side burner. It's OK. I like my 1000 better for a sidewinder, and I like my front control E330 with a sear burner a lot better than her 320 sidewinder.

Edit: DOAH. I not a genius reading.

Abandoned in Florida Two Years Ago - And STILL THERE!

When I moved from Florida to Indiana in 2020, we had lost out on a house due to the seller's outrageous default on our contract. I wound up leaving most of my grill projects and some tools behind since we didn't know where we would be living. After we closed on our house, I went back and brought my mountain of shame all the way here. The truck was completely full, resulting in me having to abandon some things, including a stainless steel Performer frame and two Spirit grills that I had not disassembled. These were intended to be used to combine into one decent grill; I planned to turn it into a "Weber Snap-On Grill" by using a red hood, and painting doors and trim red and finding a way to add fake handle trim to make the doors look like a Snap On toolbox.

I think it was a cool idea since this version of the Spirit is actually a classic Genesis underneath the modernized exterior. I have a Snap-On logo leftover from an absolute junk Snap-On grill I bought (another dumb move:cry:) and even have a Snap-On apron. It seemed like a great plan, but like many of my overextended ideas, it didn't work out.

I was down in Florida briefly this past week and went to the old unusable house that my organization let me use as a grill storage place. Stuck behind construction remnants, my two Spirits still sit, rotting and rusting away! No practical way to recover them :( ...

I wish you could find more time Jon. I would love to see some of those projects come together.

Getting started on my BBQ cart. this is just a mock up using a good frame. I have the cookbox out for painting and thought it would be good to test fit things. My plan is to use the frame from the one that burned and I collected for free.

I want to add a drawer under the marble and need to enclose the sides. I think I'll use wood and stain it black for the side trim and the face of the drawer.

This is probably a dumb question and I don’t want to create a new thread for it.

How do you get the left swing table to stay up on a Silver B?
I’m either doing something wrong or missing a part, but I don’t see any parts for it in the schematic diagram.
