Picked up a couple of baby backs on a great sale!IMG_1887.jpegRubbed them up with a yellow mustard binder. Did a base of my Santa Maria rub then added a variety on tops IMG_1888.jpegSetup the 18 WSM which I hadn’t used for awhile…IMG_1890.jpegUsed a combo of hickory and peach 🍑 and found a jumping spider under the door handle!IMG_1893.jpegWas a little worried about chow time as they didn’t go on until 4pmIMG_1898.jpegIMG_1891.jpegTwo hours inIMG_1898.jpegMy friend came over with some lamb for an appetizer! Added that and then seared on the Gold B!IMG_1899.jpegPulled after 3.5 hours and let restIMG_1900.jpegIMG_1901.jpegDry, no spritz or wrap. They cut nicelyIMG_1902.jpegIMG_1903.jpeg

Beautiful smoke ring too

Amazing cook Richard, but that's pretty much expected. You're killin the grillin.
I love PBR! And jumpin spiders too, they're hatchin right now and falling from the sky like leaves

Very nice! Those are the ribs I always had in mind (but never saw on my plate) back when I used to order ribs in restaurants.
