We were looking for something simple for diner after Barb worked all day painting the living room. I’m not allowed to paint inside because “I believe the bigger the glob the better the job”, as Barb would say.
So I took some time off from supervising Barbs painting and dragged out a few of our Weber books. In the Weber’s Time to Grill book there was a Honey Ginger Chicken Satay recipe that look interesting.
Seeing that most chicken satays use a peanut sauce which I’m not a fan of I thought I’d give this recipe a try.
Served it with fried rice and a small plate salad. It was really good and I will do it again.
Glaze ingredients Honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, grated fresh ginger, minced garlic,
Sciracha.
Sliced up two chicken breast into ½” strips
Salt and pepper on the chicken
Fried rice, egg, red onion, bell peppers, chicken bouillon, garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce
Make sure you oil the grill really well because the chicken will weld itself to the grill if you don’t. From start to finish about 5 minutes.
Thanks for stopping by.
