Christmas dinner was 2 spun chickens on my Weber Summit E-670 and 2 prime tenderloins reverse seared on my Weber 22 kettle w/SnS insert.

Dec 26 was my fathers 92nd birthday so we traveled to the live free or die state. I found a local butcher that still had some prime ribs on the bone (5 bones). I cut that into 2 roasts, rubbed with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and ground coffee. Grilled reverse sear on my dads Weber gasser.

Before Christmas our local supermarket had a sale on CAB ribeyes and rib roasts. I asked if I could purchase a whole 7 bone rack in cryovac and did. For NYE, I cut off 2 sections of 2 ribs and grilled reverse sear on my Weber 22 kettle.

Yes, prices in Canada are very high.
Needless to say this turkey didn’t come to our home for Christmas
