Hike, Leftovers, and a "drink"

The daze are getting shorter....dark @ 7:45pm or so. No matter, I've harnessed electricity.

I decided I'd better get moving so I grabbed miss piggy (she's 1 third pig) and went for a hike.

Started at the lowest point you can see there - about 2000' elevation by the time I hit the top....this is the back side of church fork....I usually hit the front it's faster/steeper/shorter but this is much more scenic.

and then the leftovers.... and the drink.... Wings from last night, thighs from yesterdays lunch or maybe the day before - this one's Terriyaki.

I was in the mood for a spiced rum and coke (said I wasn't going to drink tonight), but I hit the L store and then I one-upped myself by getting cherry coke.

.....don't hate me 'cause I'm beautiful.
 
Really beautiful pics and country! There's few things better than a good healthy hike with man's best friend. Miss Piggy looks like she's loving it.

I'm not much of a hunter but I want to go after some Elk! I have a nice collection of guns but I still haven't taken the hunters safety class lol

She didn't get much - poor thing! She probably got some scraps and a little from the 50# bag :) -----she's funny - tonight she ate a bunch of cherry tomatoes - doesn't like peanut butter but she likes fruit :) ........females........ :)

I think she's finally "mine". She's been on probably 100 hikes/snowshoe/bike/runs. I got her when she was ~8 months old, I guess 8 months & 10 days ago. She must've liked my headlamp :)

It's just getting to be that time! It was less than a week ago that I remember seeing the changes starting... post some pics---I know you're in a good area for them........
