When I first read about this it seemed like it was just trading a bit of a mess on your hands for a more difficult to clean up mess on the roller. Your review confirmed by suspicions. I've never thought squeezing the ketchup out of the packet was that big a deal. It's the opening of the packet that's the hard part. Even long time ketchup aficionados occasionally come upon a stubborn packet that ends up making a mess. The packet snipper might be useful if it could be used without squirting ketchup all over in the process. I think the little scissors on my keychain Leatherman tool do a cleaner job and I have all those other useful tools included. Admittedly, it does cost a bit more than the Heinz roller, but it fits on my keychain a lot better.
