HAPPY NATIONAL GRANDPARENT DAY!!!!!!!!

Joan

TVWBB Olympian
Just how many grandparent's do we have here? I'll start the list

Joan and Herb - 1 granddaughter, 1 grandson

Sandy and I ,
One of each as well!
Been luck to have them over to dinner two evenings in a row. Possible visit this afternoon as well!

One of each variety (4yo boy, 1yo girl) here as well. They live only 20 minutes away so we see them fairly often.

My local TV station has also mentioned it is National Chocolate Milkshake Day. I would suggest that all grandchildren take their grandparents out for a chocolate milkshake today, and experience a win/win for everyone! (y)

Austin and Payton. They live with my son and his wife in California. Having some fun with my son, Payton just got her drivers license and he sent us a picture of him and Payton next to her car. I noticed his hair was a little gray. I asked him about it and he said "Yeah it started getting gray when I started teaching Payton how to drive and it getting grayer faster now that she has her license" Welcome to my world son.

A few things here to tidy this faux pas up...LQTM
  • A grandkid could get the grand parent to play a video game or two with him or her before going out for the chocolate milkshake.
  • I would also assume a hound could easily get hugged on the way out the door for milkshakes.
  • Grandkids always, when they're younger, get the grandparents to drive them for ice cream!
  • Adult grandchildren always drive. It's in the rules of life.
