Happy first day of summer!


 
Great reminder, Chris. After staying in all day (while the forecast went from 90% rain to 15% rain -- dam-!) AND I got caught up on all my forums, it's time to go out. Also need to get that steak out of the fridge!

And them Gigantes are looking good! 1st place in Wild Card as of today!!!!
 
During the week, I am out of the house before 5am to get to my job.

The days leading to today are so nice. Every morning it’s slightly brighter.

I was having a talk with my daughter yesterday about what the longest day of the year means.

Even though the days will be incrementally shorter from now, they will also be warmer, and that’s fine by me.

Our small garden is looking good this year. Tomatoes zucchini eggplants etc on the horizon.

Good times.
 
The furnace has been on here (at times) since yesterday.

At least it ain't over 90° with 70+ dew points.
 
Yep today is the Solstice. I will say this. If our winter stays just like this...................relatively mild temps interspersed with a little cold blast, little to no precip to make things hazardous I'll take it and not mind the short days. :D
