Howdy folks..had a get together last nite with all our football friends...everybody has been missing our Sunday get togethers so we did a little fish fry!!
Chunked up about 4 lbs of Butt and hit it with Weber Boston bay seasoning and lemon...let it sit for a few while I did a quick beer batter and made some fresh pico!
Fish in the pan...had a real hot fire going!
This is a great way to fry lots of fish but becareful of the splatter..you can lose your beard in a millisecond! No mishaps this cook...house doesn't smell like fish fry either!
Halibut got the drip dry treatment as well!
Little bit of fish fried up!!
I was informed this wasn't enuf fish so I fried up some leftover Tri tip too!
Halibut tacos plated up with shredded cabbage and lemon, pico and hot sauce!! Nice Dutch oven cooked pintos..yep this might be my favorite meal!
We did some taste testing last nite ...had several beers from the local brewery!! This IPA just was released and should be showing up in the lower 48 soon!
That was pretty good too..had a nice kick and not bitter at all!
Anyway we successfully feed about 20 kids and adults..tasted several new beers and had a great nite!
