Today is three(3) weeks in which our .sixteen(16) year old dog Manchas entered doggie heaven and to take the negative edge-off I decided this morning to grill-up some Costa Rican beef and chorizo for today’s lunch on my Weber Performer Deluxe . Manchas was a ex-Costa Rican street dog who adopted us in the year 2010. The wife and I are feeling much better on Manchas passing-on but we have our moments in thinking about him and the one-less family member in our life.

BBQ can certainly mend a broken heart. You going to get a new pup? I got a pup 5 or 6 weeks back, I forgot how much "fun" they are, but you can quickly fall in love with them. Nice cook Richard
 
We have had a cat again for a year. After not having had one for almost ten years. This little fuzzy critter has been very good companionship, it took a long time for me to let my guard down after the last one passed away. This guy is pretty funny.IMG_1071.jpeg

Chuck; thank you for your kind comments and at this time the wife and I are not mentally prepared for another pup.
Maybe sometime in the future?.
 
Richard, I am sorry for your loss. Take comfort in knowing that time is the great healer, and take joy in the good times and the love that you shared with your doggie friend.

Hate hearing about your dog, lost 1 earlier this year, it was and will continue to be rough till we meet again. We still have our Beagle that spent 2 years growing up with him. Food looks great.
