yesterday afternoon was sunny enough & warm enough to finally get the third + final vinyl panel on the PV
we then sat inside out of the wind while the sun was setting... it was quite comfortable...
but before the sun completely disappeared, I fired-up the 26" OTG with KB + a little apple wood
once it got going, I added 4 rather large chicken leg-thigh quarters
they were marinated over night in a 50/50 mix of Wickers + Goya thick Chipotle Mojo...
then seasoned with Penzey's Old World seasoning. I was also trying to get marinated...
... with Leine's new Hoppin' Helles
(it's not great, glad I only picked up a 6er)
back to the bird....
about 25 minutes after this ▲ photo was taken, I probed the bird for a finished temp, & got it.
plated with yellow + orange carrots from our garden + red iron skillet baked taters...
settled in with a Pumpkin Beer brewed locally that I believe is Absolutely Outstanding!
and the leg/thigh ¼s were also with the taters + veggies...
Thank you all for your time, happy Halloween!
