Grilled Bird Leg ¼s

yesterday afternoon was sunny enough & warm enough to finally get the third + final vinyl panel on the PV

we then sat inside out of the wind while the sun was setting... it was quite comfortable...
but before the sun completely disappeared, I fired-up the 26" OTG with KB + a little apple wood
once it got going, I added 4 rather large chicken leg-thigh quarters

they were marinated over night in a 50/50 mix of Wickers + Goya thick Chipotle Mojo...
then seasoned with Penzey's Old World seasoning. I was also trying to get marinated...

... with Leine's new Hoppin' Helles
(it's not great, glad I only picked up a 6er)
back to the bird....

about 25 minutes after this ▲ photo was taken, I probed the bird for a finished temp, & got it.
plated with yellow + orange carrots from our garden + red iron skillet baked taters...

settled in with a Pumpkin Beer brewed locally that I believe is Absolutely Outstanding!
and the leg/thigh ¼s were also with the taters + veggies...:o
Thank you all for your time, happy Halloween!

Looks like another great evening with great food. Here the scenery is not so great. We've had the first snow, and everything is brown, trees are leafless, and it's better to stay inside, roof and windbreaks or not.

Beautiful chicken legs Jim! Pictures are nice and the food is outstanding!! Wind and rain this morning here; cold by our standards - :)

Terrific color on those bird legs, Jim! Great lookin' meal.

Hate to see you having to put up the vinyl on the P1gvilion, but it appears to be that time of year. :(

PV is ready for the frozen tundra of the north.
Chicken looked real good. Looking up the Penzy spice and see what it is all about.

Nice chicken, I love Lakefront beer, years ago I stopped in there to pick up a case and a T shirt on my way back home, the woman behind the counter was pretty well tuned up,my total came to like 32.00, I gave her 40.00, I put the money in my wallet and left, at my first rest stop I realized she gave me back more money than I gave her originally.!

Geir has had snow already, the walls are up on the p1gvalion - yep, I guess winter is coming! Great looking legs (and beer) to help ease the transition, Jim.

Jim the birds look good but they always do from you. How was the Old World seasoning? I ask because i was thinking about ordering some.

Thanks,
