Green Genesis 1000LX Build


 
I have used it and it is great for turning matte or dull paint nice and shiny. But, if you spray it on bare aluminum, like the badges, it will turn the bare aluminum a whitish color....You may like it, but it would be silver.

I think I will just clean it up and leave it as it is then. If I need to refinish the badge someday it's no big deal.
 
I just got my green 1000LX back together. Took it completely apart all the way down. Clean and wax the frame and Parts. Repainted the outside of the cook box and lid caps. Replaced some of the parts with new parts like the igniter and casters and everything in the cook box.

I still have new wood coming in a couple days and in the process of ordering new SS Z- metal and SS flip up table hinges from David Santana.

I'll post some pictures of where it's at now.
