Good ole white bread

Looks great, Mark! I like a basic white loaf every now and then, though I usually can't help throwing in some whole grain flour (whole wheat, rye, durum, etc.), just to add some extra levels of flavor. I have no problem whipping up a yeasted bread when I either don't have time for sourdough, or just don't feel like it. White bread makes GREAT grilled cheese sandwiches! :)

" White bread makes GREAT grilled cheese sandwiches!" Yes!

You bet! I have used an old two loaf recipe for years but, not recently. Health concerns, and Larry says it’s bad. What’s wrong with good old white bread?
Eh, I don't discriminate against bread color over a few grams of fiber. I watch carbs when its the 4c's - Cake,Chocolate,Cupcakes,Cookies.

I‘ve been making my own bread for years. Everytime it’s something different. Sourdough, oat, wheat, maple. But the SF sourdough and buttermilk are the most favorite.

a good loaf of bread here can run $6 and up. Made the 2 loaves for about $3 and I get to know what’s in it.
