Genesis XXI (Jr) Restoration

Absolutely agree. Also I could be wrong but it seems like as far as the grills I have come across the older first generation grills seem less likely to fade. Could be coincidence though.
There's just something about where you live that seems to be beneficial to the long term survival of grills in general, not that we all don't occasionally find an old one still in really good condition.

@Steve Hoch
Hopefully I can get some wide whites from you for this one. I don't want to buy another set from anyone else. If I have to I'll put some newer wheels on it until I can buy some wide whites from you.
They're coming, so don't let that slow you down. You can always pop them on at the end anyway. I highly recommend repainting the wheel itself before adding the new white walls.

@Steve Hoch I have a ways to go. Just finishing all the woodworking alone in my spare time will take a while. I don't like to rush any of it. I'm leaving for AZ in about 8 days and I'll be there for two weeks so...

Manifold, valves and regulator cleaned up. I usually remove the valves from the manifold to clean and service them but they were on there so tight that I felt like they would snap if I applied any more pressure to remove them so I took Steve's advice and cleaned and service them on the manifold.
