Genesis XXI (Jr) Restoration


 
They're on the way, but the ones on the grill now look pretty good in the pictures anyways.
They are crusty old ones that won't stay on.
I also want to make some nicer burners for it and possibly repaint the end caps and Cook box. I spray painted it and I wish I would have rolled it. I just picked up some satin black paint on sale.20250916_155212.jpg

I thought you had been rolling the cook boxes and end caps, they looked really good that way. Spray painting them looks the best when you don't have to strip the paint down to bare metal in my opinion.

Yeah I agree if the original paint is still near perfect then spraying the cookbox and end caps is good. I stripped this one completely and should have known better. I went with what paint I had on hand. Lesson learned. I'm stocked up now. It won't take much to take it apart and paint it and put it back together. Easy peasy
