I have been away for a bit working on my fence. The weber grill looked to nice next to my old one (and my HOA was having issues as it was not in the best of shape.)
So now the weber gets a nice background and safer fence.

Now I can work on getting the Blue Lid clean and on the grill and some inside projects.
IT IS BEAUTIFUL! Bruce thanks again for making the stop in the area as my dream is now complete (And I got to meet one of the nicest guys who helped me with suggestions on my rehab!) Now my next dream is a mini to match.
I got it cleaned up (could clean the inside a touch more but I could not wait to get it installed.)
I love the look of the blue. I think it is more of a Cowboys blue then a Mavs blue.
How do you guys store spare lids? Was thinking of the attic to keep it safe.
Thank you Chris. I have been anxious to see that lid on your grill. It looks great and I think it even looks better on the Silver B with the light colored gray handle and tables to set it off.
For me these pictures of a Blue Lid are killing me as everyone knows, I will find one some day. I like the Blue better than my Redhead. Chris great job.
As an Aggie fan I liked the Maroon.....but the blue lid is the actual reason I started looking at Webers. I was looking at pictures on grills in google and ran past one with the blue lid. I fell in love with it and had to find out what type of grill it was. Then I found mine for free and did not mind the Maroon (and it had a great history) but was going to keep looking for the blue lid. It is like Christmas I am so happy with it!!!! I almost want to move it into my office as a show piece when I am not cooking on it. Maybe I will get a framed picture of it to put with my kids photos.
Yup, the blue is such a beauty. I mean, I also like the redheads but the blue one stands out more to me...I think because of it's rarity. I was lucky that one of the first grills that I rehabbed was a blue one and it was also free!
