Genesis Jr Restoration

Are you going to bring all that stuff on the plane? I think I would mail it to myself and cut down on the hassle.
Free checked bag with my frequent flyer benefits. It will easily all fit in a suitcase. I'm cheep so I don't want to pay for shipping Plus I'm bringing tools there and back. I can handle a couple suitcases no problem.

20241120_152125~2.jpgNew Weber temp gage just showed up in the mail. Almost forgot about it. Not sure I need it but I want to be prepared.

@Steve Hoch you're probably wondering why I didn't just have all the things shipped to that house in the first place. I have trust issues. I want to make sure I have everything I need.

I usually only replace the thermometers now for these reasons even though they aren't very expensive. 1) condensation inside of it. 2)just doesn't work anymore.3) face is faded. Otherwise they clean up like brand new with some fine steel wool and simple green.

I usually don't replace them. As you mentioned they usually clean up like new. Now that I'm looking at pics of the Jr. It looks off but either way I want some spare parts there like these extra burners and igniter. This Jr. May potentially be one of my mainly used grills for the rest of my life. I haven't decided which 1000 I will pair with it yet for the long haul.
