Genesis Jr Restoration

When you cut off the support structures on both ends you need to leave stubs long enough to rest in the cook box slots, so the rack doesn’t fall inIMG_1208.jpeg

Guns are my “go to” answer for trouble-free luggage movement when flying. I’m CC in 30+ states and always check a handgun when traveling to reciprocal states, My luggage gets the full red carpet treatment from TSA on each and every trip. Airlines are the last ones who want to deal with a lost hand gun. I’m almost daring them to try and lose a bag.

I went back as far as November 11th and I couldn't see any one mentioning guns, why are you talking about them now ?

Excited to get back to AZ. Flight delayed to 9pm Tonight.

Back to the 1988 Genesis Junior project. I think I have everything packed that I need besides Paint and Stain that I'm getting there. Suitcase was 65 lbs so I put my 9930 grates and Dave's flav bars in my carry-on

So I just decided I'm going to leave my Jr Propane for now and probably do my Natural Gas conversion later.

Question:
Fastest way to get Wheel caps for tank weight bracket? Are they the same as the ones on the wheels? Black or white. Maybe available at hardware store? Or Amazon next day shipping?
Any thoughts or opinions?

The size you need for the tank axle is 1/4 inch.
If you order from Amazon, which I did, the white part also gets smaller.
The black axle caps are 3/8, you need a 1/4 but trying to find a 1/4 inch and still having the white part the same size as the black cap is challenging
