Nice work Steve!!I'm pretty good at painting big things, but that fine detail work is not my strong suit. I just finished this section of my cabinets tonight.View attachment 99044

No, I still have too much of this to do before I can take a breather. I might also add that I would never do this job again even if you paid me.@Steve Hoch Any thoughts on your next Weber restoration project?
Now that the cabinets are almost done
Ooooh yeah you still have a fair bit to go.No, I still have too much of this to do before I can take a breather. I might also add that I would never do this job again even if you paid me.
You're definitely the kind of neighbor I would like to have, but if I let you help me do this job you would own me foreverOoooh yeah you still have a fair bit to go.
I'd be happy to give you a hand if you weren't halfway across the country from me
I already owe you for all your help with my old Weber restorations. You're definitely the kind of neighbor I would like to have, but if I let you help me do this job you would own me forever
Think nothing of it, happy to help any way I can. Anyone who likes Genesis 1000 grills as much as I do is my kind of guy.I already owe you for all your help with my old Weber restorations.
Well I appreciate it and if there's ever anything I can do for you I'd be more than happy toThink nothing of it, happy to help any way I can. Anyone who likes Genesis 1000 grills as much as I do is my kind of guy.
Well, since these grills seem to survive very well in your Washington State climate I may take you up on that offer sooner than laterWell I appreciate it and if there's ever anything I can do for you I'd be more than happy to
Doesn't look in bad shape. Oddly I picked the last one I'd gotten (for a give away) for free and other than the lid handle looked pretty good too. But I had to scramble to get lid handle parts and eventually another member here helped me out IIRC. So, being "all there" is worth a few $$$This pic is motivating me to pick one up! Have been considering it for a while.
Maybe this one if it's still available when I return to WA.

Anywhere from free to $40 would probably be my preference. It's on my list of things I'd like to try.Doesn't look in bad shape. Thank you I will definitely look into it!I think the Q3xxx is the most versatile of the Qs then followed by the new Q2800N+ I think that is what it's called. Basically a Q2XXX made like a Q3XXXX
