Wanted to do a breakfast burrito but didn’t have any tortillas, why not make some so here goes.
My ingredients flour, baking powder, Crisco shorting, water and salt.

Mix flour, baking powder together, cut in shoring mix to get coarse meal consistency. Dissolve salt in warm water, mix into flour till it all comes together. (You may need more water)

They were great and definitely doing them again.
Thanks for looking.

And here I am eating my bowl of cereal this morning :(. That must have been an incredible breakfast with those homemade tortillas — nicely done Barb!

Thanks everyone for the kind words, they were great but again always a little room for improvement.

Killer! I've got to try that. Problem is - there is a tortilleria about 7 blocks away from my house.
However... I still want to make those.

Gorgeous. Looks like Rich's supervisory skills are paying off!

Seriously, great job Barb.

You make that look so simple! What did you cook that in if I may ask? I'm getting some Lodge cast iron for Christmas, would I need a flat skillet or would a 12 inch fry pan work? Thanks for sharing that!
