First rib smoke!

Been loving reading through the forum and silently learning from you all! Thanks for making a great community.

Did my first rib smoke this afternoon and it went great. I started very small with one rack of BB ribs cut in half. Used 3 chunks of cherry and 1 chunk of mesquite. I used a chimney full of unlit briqs and around 15 lit. I tried banking the unlit on one side of the chimney but it took forever to get it going. Ribs went on at 2:30 as the dome temp hit 200. The temp hovered around 250 for most of the cook. The ribs came off at 5:30 after a brushing of sauce and rested for around 10 minutes. They had a great bite but came right off the bone when pulled. Good smoke ring too. The wife, a big rib fan, said they were the best she's ever had.

I have to say, I feel very fortunate to have had a relatively great first rib run. Couldn't have done it without you all!

Here they are after saucing:

Hope everyone had a great Sunday.
