She'll will know me well this weekend.
I'm coming from the Smokenator on my Weber performer.

Thanks Dwain, I got a butt marinating and planning on doing Real "faux" Pastrami, if you know what I mean
BTW, how do we post pictures here?

Congrats Ernest and welcome to the forum. You're gonna love the smoker

To post pics use a site like photobucket. When you are looking at a pic in your library, there will be 4 links for it. Click the "img" link and it will say "copied". Then just go to your post and hit "paste" and your picture will come up

Thank you.
I use dropbox and it seems like that no workie workie here.
I can't stand Picasa

Seems to be a perfect size for me. The most I've smoked at a time is two STL ribs. I'll have to baptize it with some wings tomorrow while I wait for the weekend.

Congrats on the new smoker !

Picasa and Dropbox are apps that live on your computer/phone.

Photobucket, Tiny Pic, Image Shack etc are imaging hosting websites where you upload your pics to.
With your pics living offsite on their servers, you simply copy the "Forum Code" and paste it here, as stated above.
I think Photobucket might be the smoothest handling of those three.

I checked temps a few times and that weber thermometer seems accurate enough.

Had a 3 pound point.
Way too easy. Ran at 234 for the most part, half a chimney for a 5 hour cook.
