Sorry no grill picture the flash on my camera is acting up and we just moved into our new home so all I have on the patio is a worthless porch light for now. Plus at cook time it was dark and 14 degrees outside to cold for me to hang out.
Anyway this was my first try at chuck eyes and after seeing all the great posts about them I was very happy to finally find some after a couple of months of looking.
I did a simple S&P, garlic and just a little steak seasoning. Sides were the wife’s glazed carrots and a small baked potato, just a simple Friday night dinner.
The chuck eyes came out really well, medium rare, not melt in your mouth tender but much better then expected with really great beef flavor, definitely do again.

And of course the very happy to be in the house ladies after being out guarding the grill while Dad watched from inside the warm house. And yes they got a little taste for being such good guard dogs.

Thanks for taking the time to look.

Nice chuck eyes Rich! Check out some top blade steaks are also great steak for the money.

Rich;
I just recently "discovered" chuck eye steaks (thanks to the good people on this forum) and we thoroughly enjoy them. They seem to have far more "beefy flavor" than more expensive cuts. In fact, they taste like beef from my days as a lad on the farm when we raised cattle with fat on them:rolleyes:...

Good cook and a very good post!
Keep on smokin',
