Yesterday was my birthday and the wife and I started our patio addition in the morning and we took the afternoon off so I could smoke a bone in turkey breast for the first time on the mini.and have a few adult beverages. It turned out to be a very nice day so we just sat on the patio and enjoyed the day.
I used the advice I got from the forum members a few days ago and I must say it was perfect, thanks to all of you who offered your wisdom.
I used cherry and apple for the smoke and the mini settled in at 250-260 for about three hours. Pulled the breast at 155 and foiled for about and hour.
Absolutely the best turkey breast we’ve ever had! Moist, tender and just the right amount of smoke that didn’t overpower the taste of the turkey.
Ready for the mini.

Out of the foil
Barb did up some sweet taters with some evoo and some fresh herbs.
Barb also did up some honey glazed carrots really a tasty meal
