First attempt high heat ribs

Inspired by a few of Jim Lampe's posts, I tried ribs with the high heat method on my
Performer today. I was really impressed with how well these turned out. Obviously not as much smoke flavor as the WSM but tender, juicy, and delicious!

Jim Lampe has me intriqued with his high heat ribs, too! I just may have to try that out myself, shortly. However, if Jim says it's so, I KNOW it is so.

Bob, It appears that you know your way around a Weber, too! Great lookin' ribs for you, also!!

I'll report further...

Keep on smokin',

Bob, those are great looking ribs. Yes we have done the high heat cooks and very happy with them.

I've never heard of high heat ribs. Glad they turned out good for you. I'm a lil stubborn & going to stick to my way of cooking but kudos to you for trying something different

Looking great!

I love high(ish) heat ribs. 275-325 works great. Haven't done 'em low and slow for years.

Jim's 45, 30, 5, 10, High Heat Ribs have given me an alternative to Low & Slow. In 90min the ribs are done and resting. In 105min we have some of the best ribs you'll ever eat. Give Jim's method a try and let us know what you think.
Good luck and good cooking.

Bill
