Finally Did Roadside Chicken

I've wanted to make the Roadside chicken for some time and decided today was the day. I did it with chicken thighs and marinated them for around 3 hours.

I decided to use the rotisserie and basket.

The Performer held a steady 400-410 throughout the cook which took about 40 minutes.

The finished product. Some of the best chicken I've ever had.

Dear JR,

When I first read your post I thought you said "roadkill chicken."

I'd run over people to get some of that at the roadside.

Regards,

Tim Murphy :)

Thanks Frank. I used the sticky recipe from the poultry recipe folder by Bryan S, thank you Bryan. The only thing I did differently was after marinating I applied a little of Penzey's Galena Street.

Thank you Robert. Definitely a new favorite here.

JR that looks wonderful. I love the color your rotisserie style cook gave the chicken. I need one of those baskets. Great cook!
