Father-in-Law's Thanksgiving + New Grilling Setup

Did Thanksgiving with my father in law and some of his friends on Sunday. He just finished a brand new stone grilling area with a marble countertop, built-in Lynx 42" grill with Prosear and rotisserie, built-in side burner, and charcoal "pit" with 3 grate levels for cooking or keeping food warm. It's a beautiful setup, and he did some great work on it. Sorry for blurry pics, was snapping away while he worked.

Did a 15lb beef roast on the roti. Seasoned with crushed pepper, season-all, Mrs Dash basil, and lemon pepper.

Did a 22lb bone-in ham inside. About 3 hours in he scored it, and glazed with honey mustard, spicy mustard, and brown sugar.

And for the set-up. Feel free to be jealous. I am! ;) Maybe one day he'll let me show him how to use the charcoal pit. ....Doubtful :)

What a great looking setup...that setup is wasted on the 4:30 sunset and snow and cold up here in Ma...I always find myself extremely jealous of the setups the further south and west you go...

Very nice, but the charcoal pit needs to get dirty!

Phil,
You're spot on! I told him I'd love to come over and work on the charcoal side while he's got the roti going on the gasser. With 3 racks I think you could do some interesting things. slow cook a roast up top, pan of veggies in the middle collecting drippings, and a split chicken on bottom.
