Nice, best of luckI was thinking the same thing!

the Rösle just arrived. I think I will keep it. Clean until I wear the rest out! I might need to pick up a new caddy, the handle “separated” from the body after probably ten years! It lives right there year round!
That 22” in the background is destined to become the dedicated rotisserie unit once I make the carriage! That might be done by summer if I get a design figured out. That might get a caddy of its own!
Thanks JonThat’s a great collection. I notice a couple Spirits in the color design like I saw in my trip to Germany where I got to visit a Weber store there. That slick black style is not available in the US.
I think I like the stainless version better..Tom, here is an example of the US version:

The European version has a cool black control panel, whereas the US one has the boring stainless finish.
I can post more pictures tomorrowI think I like the black panel better. As long as it is a durable finish and won't fade or scratch off.
Very nice collection! I would like to see some more pictures of your black control panel Spirit as well, definitely a little different than US spec grills.I can post more pictures tomorrow![]()
Thank you all for picturesSure you can paint the lids. Just be sure to use a good heat resistant paint.

Thanks BruceTom, unless it is just a few very small areas, I suggest that you take the lid down to bare metal for two reasons.
1. The paint is clearly failing and you don't want the old paint to start peeling under your new paint.
2. there is a texture to the Weber paint and if you strip just areas, it will have a totally different finish in the stripped areas to the areas with paint still on them and it will look terrible.
Either sand blasting them or a 4" angle grinder with a wire cup brush will do the job.
I know you don't have Harbor Freight stores in Norway, but these are the tools I am talking about:
