El Toro Tri Tip sandwich and I've never been to California

Looks great, is there a difference between tri tip and london broil? One of family favorites is London Broil and it looks a lot like that .

Bob you cook like a native i love this style of beef cook, i did this last week for lunches and it turned out great.
But yours looks even better.

Good looking sandwich, Bob !

Might need to drop by Phil's one of these days.
Hillcrest area is my go to for BBQ when in SD.

Bob Correll...Everything looks great!!

Bob Bass...I'm heading to SD at the end of September for some vacation time with the family. What places do you recommend in the Hillcrest area?

One of my favorites. Tri-tip and eggs, Breakfast of Champions! Cooked perfect! I do a lot of TT and always try to make sure there is enough for leftovers. It used to be cheap around here but has got very popular along with the price, $6-$7/lb. now!

First off, I would have to say you nailed the temp on that tri-tip. Second, outstanding slice on that. Nice and thin and across the grain makes for one tender piece of beef.
