Easter Ham

Most of our Easter feast was made in the house but I was happy to cook the ham outside on my Weber.
Put the ham in a foil pan with apple juice and put on the grill set up with only one chunk of Apple wood for a long cook. Temps from 280 - 325.

After an hour and a half turned the ham and prettied it up a little.

After another hour turned it again

As a little side project Kim and I are always trying to eat healthy so I injected a turkey breast with teriyaki sauce and smoked it for our lunches next week.

Made some ham glaze from a recipe by Ree Drummond and at the 3 1/2 hour mark brushed the glaze on the ham every twenty minutes for an hour.

Took the ham off to rest a half an hour.

Everything tasted wonderful and our family had a great Easter. Hope you and yours did too. Happy Easter!

Nice work buddy.,..that Easter dinner looks perfect.! I never though about injecting birds with soy sauce..bet it works good with the salt content. Nice!!

Thanks for the nice comments everyone.

Todd, I had some turkey for lunch today and it was very flavorful with the teriyaki injected in.
