Dutch Baby in a Dutch Oven

Wasn't grilled or smoked.... but it does use charcoal, so I hope you'll let me slide for this post.

1 cup Milk
1 cup Flour
4 Eggs
1 tsp Sugar
1/2 tsp quality Mexican Vanilla
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp. Ground Cinnamon

Pre-heat a Dutch Oven at 425* for 15 minutes. Put all the ingredients into a blender and spin for at least 2 minutes. Melt 1/4 cube butter in the Dutch oven and pour in the good stuff. Remove enough charcoal to reduce heat to 375* and bake for about 20 minutes.

I used a 10" Dutch oven with 18 gray charcoal on top & 9 underneath for the preheat & removed 2 bricketts top & bottom to reduce the heat to 375*.
I rotated the whole Dutch oven 90* clockwise & then the lid 90* counter-clockwise after 10 minutes.
After 20 minutes, remove the lid and remove the Dutch oven from the heat source.
As the Dutch baby cools it will collapse. You can then cut & serve it. Goes great with lots of butter, maple syrup & fresh fruit.

I cut the recipe down by 1/4 because the wife & I can't eat a 4 egger.

This is what happens when you use 4 eggs. Don't worry... it will be great!

Thanks. I made it.

Made from scrapes or can you reproduce it? (See were I'm going with this?) You have no idea how many times I needed something like that for my ovens. It makes life easy when you have no place to fire off a batch of dutch ovens. Hell, you could make a killing with that plate.
