The 22 got a work out on labor day, it likes em like that. Started out the afternoon with a 3# pork loin, rub with some outlaw BBQ rub. I broke out the rottie and get this ship a cracken' I went HNF on this. Kettle temp was about 450 and it was pulled at 145 and foiled and wrapped with a towel and into a cooler.

I threw in some pecan chips into the charcoal banks, about a had full in both.
About three hours later, sliced and put on some of our fine china made by Scott Towels. Turned out Scrum Dilly Um Chew Us!! Juicy, flavorful and moist. Total cook time was about 50 minutes. Bark was good also. This rottie never fails to impress. Love the CB!

A little bit after she cooled down enough, some sliders n franks were brought out for a try. Toni made up some slaw, and mac salads, me mudda made some tater salad, so much food, so little time. Me mudda n law like er franks black n lumpy....yeah, that's what I say, I'll pull a charcoal briquette out and serve it up for you..crazy but I aim to please.

Very good day and food. The PL was definitely da bell aduh ball!

The PL had a nice bark on it also. Thanks for looking and we hope you all had a great Labor Day!
