Just sat down to enjoy St. Louis ribs off the WSM, along with potato salad and Mexican pinto bean soup.
Don’t care about the outcome of the game, won’t watch the halftime show.

Quit watching pro sports when players refused to show respect for the National Anthem. Could care less about pro teams but still love college ball.

Well college ball with NIL's will soon be ruined, and the playoff platform is already watered down, and just awful IMO.
The other part the NFL only started making players present to stand on the sidelines in 2009 and outside of one protest the NFL and DOD are guilty as well. The NFL makes money off the DOD last I seen almost 7 million to show respect to our military. The NFL makes money or they wouldn't even promote it.
The problem for me is follow the money. Money is what drives the wagon. Sports may not be totally fake, but they have their hand in making things happen that makes the most money. Sports betting is killing all Sports IMO.

Well, I'm happy with the outcome. And the chili cheese dogs were spectacular, as were the deep fried tater tots. Time to hit the Pepto.

Well, my “finger food” was only shared by one of the staff. The barbecue gods were toying with me, nothing went to normal plan procedure! Wings took forever! Kilties came unwrapped! Shotgun shells just didn’t work out very well. Bacon was too short! My fault, my own fault, my own most grevious fault!
I’m putting it off to excessive tiredness and stress.

There is not a lot of football watching at my place.....so I gave the MRS the choice on who to cheer for.
She chose of course the chiefs......I said great as I wanted to cheer for Philly.......
We ate and seen that dreadful halftime show......later on at about midnight I woke up on the couch....Philly had a great lead but missed the last half of the game.....woke up with many hours of sleep....regret nothing.

The commercials are the best part of the entire game. lol. Why would you FF through those?
I'm a football guy so I enjoy watching the games, but definitely more of a college guy and since my college (Oklahoma) had more players in the game than any other school, it was a win-win for me. I enjoy the pageantry of the entire spectacle.
Started watching pregame at around noon on the patio while firing up the smoker.
Started with the meat in the WSK but finished in the Genesis.
Pulled pork (carnitas), flank steak, and chicken thighs.
I got these hotel pans to use instead of wrapping because I was tired of going through so much foil. I even use them just to rest my grilling like seared steaks, chicken, and pork chops.
The lid wouldn't go all the way down on the pork shoulder so I cut it in half at about 170 because it wasn't coming out of the stall (don't judge me, please lol).
Had the 3 meats for tacos and also made a huge pot of pinto beans in the Instapot.
Homemade pico and guac
Enjoyed the game and then finished all the dishes while I watched the Floor since the TV was still on after the game. lol.

I agree commercials often are better than the game play, but they can be easily found online.

I learned it from my Dad. He would rarely watch a game live, usually record it to VHS and his VHS player had a skip 30 sec button.

Me and the wife spent the day on the Coast, Pismo Beach and Morro Bay. tired of all the hype and BS, glad to see the Chiefs get steamrolled.
