Different Twist on Pizza

This is a spinoff of Barbs tread “Pizza, Pizza Anyone” I wanted to try something a little bit different. So I decided to do a Southwest / Mexican version of pizza.
I used Tony Rs refried bean recipe thinned with beef broth to make it easy to spread for the pizza sauce.
Anaheim’s and jalapeno rings for the heat and chorizo for the meat and mozzarella and five blend Mexican cheese with a few black olives.
Had to fight the wind, had a heck of a time keeping the kettle pizza up over 550.
The pizza came out great and I’ll try it again with a few more tweaks.

[I’m going to see how this works to get the heat down on the top of the pizza on the next cook.

This proves my point: Pizza is THE perfect food. Everything can be made pizza style. This one looks interesting!

We're having a pizza party after church tomorrow with the whole fam damily! I just mixed up a batch of Lahey's dough recipe to start the ferment.
