Cutting wood into chunks

I know most of us don't run production type BBQ, so why cut more than you need?
Me, I'll take limb and lob off a few pcs as I see fit.
Cut them earlier, and they dry out quicker, and having smoke-wood with the right moisture content is the key for proper BBQ.... IMO.:wsm:

Tim, I share my abundant supply with others... Always have a lot available...
To lop off a few pieces, I'll use that this weekend:)

Just give me a machete.
I've cut untold miles of brush and trees with one, clearing line of sight for our survey instruments during my years as a surveyor.

I can attest to Jim's generosity, Wisconsin apple wood is the very best!

I'm with Tim and Jeff. A miter or table saw is not safe with irregular shaped material. A limb will bind and kick faster that you can possibly react. If you value your tool or fingers.....

Well Jim if you do like to share, than please do it safely.:)
That gizmo you linked to might work.

Tim, sometimes ya gotta experience the dark side before the brain kicks in.

I use this every time I go to California to see the grandkids. I just counted all my fingers and I still have ten. And yes I have band saw, chop saw, jig saw, chain saw, saws all, etc. I'm also a CS when it comes to taking risks with my body parts.
