Brian sent that post to me earlier --- but I ended up chatting with him rather than going..... I thought it would be worth it just for the rotisserie --- but I was too lazy.
 
That lid has to be a transplant, I can’t be alone in thinking that can I? A Genesis 3 with fat white walls and a blue lid? Looks gorgeous though!

In the original pic, it looks to me like a warm (outside air temp) grill sprayed with cold water and the resulting condensation/sweating.
 
One of the reasons I don't like those long frame grills is that beauty cover that goes on the front. Most of them are rusty and can't be saved. The other problem I've found is that the frame is often shot somewhere along where that panel rests against the frame. Yeah, I would probably just strip it for good parts and junk the rest. You could probably sell that side burner on eBay for $100.
