It appears to be. Had some junk in the bottom and by the time I was able to unload it, it was too dark out.Was the bottom of the cabinet in good shape?

Bruce, I think the cover speeds up the rust personally by holding in the moisture as you have found here.The only benefit to a cover I can see is sun protection if that's an issue with a particular grill setup.Here is a photo of the inside. I would love to check the underside, but my right knee is screwed up and I don't think I could even get back to my feet if I got on my knees. I think I did get the underside though.

When I pulled the cover off just now, this is what I found. I seriously am not sure if a cover is helping or making the moisture problem worse. We did get some rain yesterday, but it seems the cover is simply holding the moisture in. I have the cover off now to let it dry out. It is a Weber vented cover.
