The piece of meat for the Valentine Dinner: Cote de Veau . I like Cote de Boeuff , but this baby is a keeper.
What a delight. Piece was about 1100 grams . I only put some salt on the meat, nothing more.

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves

Christian,

Welcome to the forum! Those pictures speak volumes. Love the professional quality grill marks sir! I am not familiar with Cote de Veau. Is it a cut of meat or a particular style of cooking? The steak looks like a cut we would call a 'Cowboy Ribeye' in the US...

Regards,

John

It's the prime rib of a veal. The name is in French :-)
