Outstanding Jim! I've mentioned a few times about our Costco not stocking brisket...ever. We went in today and I couldn't believe my eyes. Brisket flats, Choice for $4.99/lb. Didn't get one as I prefer whole Packers. But it's progress!
 
Barb and I were at Costco yesterday and loaded up but not like that. Picked up some ribs and a brisket flat. You did good, our Costco always has brisket but seldom do they have primes.
 
I have not seen Prime Packers at my Costco below $3.29/lb. I hope this is the trend in price reduction.
 
Went yesterday, no prime packers, no choice packers, no packers at all at my Costco. Paid $4.29 a pound for a choice flat I'll use for pastrami making.
 
Went back to my Costco today. Prime Packers @ $2.79/lb. Costco had 5 there and the packers looked good. The price is almost right.
 
Get ready, folks.... there will be a day when we'll look back and say "Remember when we were buying Prime packers for less than $3.00 per lb??!!!!"
 
The "Choice" grade packers were $2.29/lb at the Costco Business Center the last time I was there.

I think we will see sub-$2.00/lb on choice packers in the not to distant future.
