Our daughter-in-law made a terrific chicken pot pie, complete with name, barb wire, brand, and oozing cheese.

I took along some chuck eyes, and a tri tip for grilling on the Brinkmann. (At least he has a Weber chimney starter)

No plated shot, but here's youngest granddaughter having a bite of grandpa's steak.
She insisted on having some 'sauce' on it. I gave her a hard time about that of course.

Jo Anne and I spent a couple of days in the mountains.

You look completely at home there in those hills with the ol'cowboy hat an'boots!
Great post!!

Loved the pictures of your visit, Bob! Looks like the Brinkmann did ok by the look of that TT. Glad you had an enjoyable visit and a safe trip home.

Was wondering where you were. I plan on moving into my SILs basement in Colorado as soon as the wife retires, I love it there. We haven't told her yet though. Glad you had a great time and weren't expected to go the whole time without grilling.

Beautiful countryside Bob, and beautiful pictures. For a moment, I thought the pot pie (my fave!) said "O.K. Correll", or is that OK Corral? ;) Anyway, great food for the family. Thanks for sharing. You look good in the hat btw...
