Cooking for Mom

My mom is spending the weekend with us. Ask what she wanted for dinner Friday night and she said Steaks!!!!
My mom was eating hospital food for a 4 days and had enough.

But first some refreshments for me.



Later in the night around 10 pm or so we get started.

Potato with margarine.















Dinner is served.... My mom loved her dinner. was a great night of conversations and laughter.

Weekend family get togethers go late into the night. We will have dinner around 6-7 then as the night goes on we re heat food or grill more to sober up anyone that needs it's. Make coffee and have it with Mexican bread. Kids will have hot chocolate or any snack available.

Beautiful looking cook, Tony. What a great cook for your Mom. So glad she is feeling better. I drink a lot of Sierra Nevada, the brewery is practically in my backyard, but I haven't seen Flipside yet. Will be on the lookout for sure. Very nice pictures.

Great potatoes also. Where did you get the green asparagus now. In germany asparagus season does end in june ...and I can't find fresh ones now. Is it different in the US?

The asparagus are available to me year round. I have no idea when they are in season.
