SWMBO came home the other day excited about this this new fried chicken recipe she found. (We are definitely always on the lookout for new fried chicken recipes.) The idea is to soak the chicken in buttermilk and hot sauce, bread it, fry it, then finish it in a 350*F oven. I can do that.
Here we are post soak and pre cook
Not sure why I didn't take a shot of the yard bird indirect but when I took this they were. (Bottom vent half open gets me to 350*F most every time - this was no exception)
SWMBO used some of my home made bacon to dress up some green beans. She also did a great mashed potato but I went light on them.
