Thats one excellent cook Brett. I got tired just reading all you had to do. Barb and I buy a lot of chuck to grind but I've never smoke one, but that's going to change soon. Now that I'm in my mid 70s like you said simple and less is best for us now.

that means a lot. thank you! def easier than a full packer brisket. and i too like my chuck burgers, either straight chuck or with blend-ins. sirloin is a great burger add-in, and so is brisket and short ribs (can be pricey). check this place out for blend ideas: https://shop.lafrieda.com/collections/signature-burgers

their meats are top shelf. and burgers are real good. but you can easily grind your own for some fabulous home burgers.
