We finally got a tree up Wednesday. Yay!

And usually, my mom and her husband come out. And our best friends, and all their kids, grand kids and SOs show up to make a houseful! Kids and food and much fun!
But our friends dad is battling cancer, so they went to Florida to be with him. And their kids and all their entourage couldn't make it early because of dinner with THIER in-laws. What's a guy to do?
2 Christmas dinners, that's what! Mom and her husband came out about noon and we feasted.
Turkey, dressing, mashed taters, sweet taters, green bean casserole and rolls!
I copied my spatched turkey from thanksgiving. But I only cooked half on the kettle.

Plus, 3 kinds of pie! Pumpkin, pecan and raisin! Holy wow, I'm still stuffed! I made mom call me after she got home to make sure she didn't fall asleep!
Which brings us to round 2! Same sides, just bigger pans! We had 6 adults and 5 kids. So I cooked the other half turkey and a spiral sliced ham with the bourbon/mustard glaze from this forum.
