I thought about stealing Jim's chop cook pictures, but knew y'all wouldn't be fooled.
So here's what mine looked like.
Yukon golds done, mushrooms and zukes go on.

Oops, that's Jim's plate, here's mine:

A tasty dinner to take the sting out of the baseball Cardinal's loss.

Steak test.
Member Bob H and I did a little rub/seasoning exchange.
I sent him a sample of Brazilian Fire, and I received John's Steak and Seasoning Spice from Pickle's Place in Arco, ID.
I wanted to test John's S&S against Oakridge's Black Ops Brisket Rub.
A small blade steak, cut in half. Black Ops right, John's left:

The Black Ops seemed to char up more, maybe due to the coffee and sugar in it.
Not sure what all is in John's, but Bob said lots of different peppers, but not hot.

Verdict?
I liked John's a bit more than the Black Ops, and my son liked the Black Ops a little better, said it had a Mexican flavor.
We agreed that both are very good.
Thanks Bob for the sample!
