Chicken Time Saturday

I've seen so many great chicken posts lately I decided that was what we needed tonight. Marinated some thighs for my wife and a couple of leg quarters for me. After grilling, simply served them up with some white rice and roasted corn. Here's some pic's.

Marinated the chicken for about two hours. AC Vinegar and Oil and spices.

Pulled from marinade and let them rest while grill heats up. Little bowl of reserved marinade for basting.

Got the corn roasting for about 25 - 30 minutes.

Chicken on over direct heat.

Kept a close eye on the chicken, turning frequently and basting. Pulled at around 165 IT.

Pulled and rested. One of the leg quarters needed a few more minutes.

Whipped up my rice. Added a little butter for color and contrast. (That was a joke, ha ha)

Plated. This is my plate. My wife likes the thighs. I always do enough chicken for left overs.

First bite!

Well, that's it. Thanks for looking everyone. Have a great day. Opening NFL Sunday, hope you all get a chance to enjoy it.
